Problem Statment

Wendy's Dumpling shop is struggling with long wait times and inefficiencies in its in-store ordering process, particularly during busy periods, resulting in customer frustration. ordering service also lacks an effective method to engage with customers beyond in-person visits, limiting opportunities for repeat business and broader brand reach. With rising competition and growing customer expectations for digital solutions, Wendy's Dumpling shop requires a way to simplify ordering, boost customer loyalty, and enhance the overall experience to stay competitive and foster growth.

Goal

To design and launch a user-friendly mobile app for Wendy's Dumplings shop that enables customers to conveniently browse the menu, place orders for pick-up or delivery, and engage with a loyalty program—ultimately improving customer satisfaction, boosting sales, and expanding brand visibility

Design Process

The Wendy's Dumpling app design process focused on addressing customer needs like quicker ordering and easy access to promotions. After researching user pain points, the team created wireframes and prototypes for a simple, intuitive interface. User feedback was used to refine the app, which ultimately featured a loyalty program, streamlined ordering, and push notifications for promotions, offering a smooth and engaging experience.

Food Enthusiasts: Customers who appreciate discovering distinct, premium foods, especially those with an interest in Asian cuisine. They value convenience and are eager to try new menu options and seasonal specials.

Loyal Customers: Regular patrons who are already familiar with Dumpling Delight’s offerings and would benefit from a loyalty program that rewards them for repeat business.
